GM (genetically modified) Crops are plants that have been made to survive extreme cold/heat etc. The way this is done, is by geting a cell from another plant and transplanting it into another plant so it can survive certain conditions. Scientists think this will help to stop world hunger, but some people disagree. check this info on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetically_modified_food
