How are the gosselin kids doing with their parents divorce?

Since the Gosselin's divorce was finalized, Jon and Kate have gone their separate ways.

Kate continues to pursue opportunities in front of the camera. She has repeatedly mentioned her interest in growing her media career in interviews and on twitter. According to reports she has participated in pilots and small projects as she looks for something that will be a good match for her talents and skills.

Jon Gosselin has a full time job out of the limelight, he works long hours and sees the children when he has custody under the court ordered arrangement.

• All of them are sweet loving kids. Mady is the one who misbehaves a lot. Most of them are kind and loving. In my opinion Alexis and Aaden are the cutest!
• Mady Gosselin is by far the worst behaved child in the Gosselin family.

• People do think Cara is sweet and kind. Cara is soooooooooooooo the opposite of Mady. Cara is so sweet and kind and Mady's a cold hearted meanie.

• Mady has issues. She's brilliant, but extremely jealous of her siblings and acts out to get attention. Cara is bright, caring, tolerant, and the most well behaved child in the Gosselin family. Alexis is adorable, but misbehaves. She's daring and loving and seems to be a real handful. Hannah loves to help her parents and acts older than her years. She's currently 5 going on 15. She definitely has a teenage attitude and can be sarcastic and disobedient. Leah is adorable, but used to have a habit of vomiting when she didn't get her way. She's bubbly and loving. but lays low most of the time. She's a follower. Aaden is really cute and has an obsession with animals. He's very curious and has a studying mind. Joel is a whiner who tends to cling to his dad. He has some trouble with his speech and sounds younger than he actually is. He once repeatedly told his parents "I'm a girl" and tends to act a bit girly at times. Collin is persistent and helpful. He also can be very stubborn. He tends to love to organize and it seems he might be a leader one day. He likes to say "Hey guys..." and then give his suggestions about how to approach a situation.

• I lean more towards Cara. Mady tends to get into fits, is stubborn, and whines. A lot. Cara, on the other hand, is more helpful towards her mother and other children, and she listens to others more.

According to Jon and Kate the kids were not surprised, but are still struggling to understand what it all means. They are still asking questions, and slowly understanding that their parents are no longer together.

Papers to initiate divorce proceedings were filed the following day, June 22, 2009.

Horribly, yes. It always happens through a break up/divorce. I feel horrible for the Gosselin children who have to go through it especially the sextuplets.
