What are Polynesians the descendants of?

In past Anthropological and Archaeological studies, the Polynesian cultures have had greatly misplaced theories on their origins from western academia, who used have to blend in with religious academia.

Today with research departments connected internationally in study, it is known that the Polynesians are the same people from continued eras of the Southeast Asian - East Asian Expansions, including other areas of the Moana such as Indonesia, Melanesia, and Micronesia.
