well, you have some rights before you turn 18, like drivers license, curfew- the time you have to be in at nights and on weekends. some places have different set times. call you local police department. some have age limits on drinking and buying cigarettes. some states have different ages on marraige. but its best to call and find out just in case some things has changed. i use to know but its been so long ago. sorry
When it comes to regular legal rights a 15 year old really does not have many in NY. Considering 15 is underage, the guardian or parent of the child is the one who is legally responsible for the child.
They are pretty limited. Unless you are being abused, you are subject to your parents rules, the school rules and the laws of the community and state.
Well a 15 can get a job there with a work permit and a driver's permit.
Manhattan is part of NYC, which in turn is part of New York State.
When they turn 18.
None.
New York is still New York, look at a map if you dont believe me. It started out as a Dutch colony named New Amsterdam though.
A 17 year old may not legally move out in Texas unless granted emancipation. If the teen is not granted emancipation, they are obligated to stay with their parents until 18 years of age.
Biological mother's rights out weigh the rights of a grandparent and even more so in regards to a step-grandparent. I'm sorry to say this but you have as much rights to these children as the people that live down the street do. This is where the law stands in my country (Canada) and many other places in the world. If you want to have rights to these children you will have to prove that she is a danger to her own children and is unfit to parent. If you want to terminate her parental rights you might end up fighting that in court and if you win? any future children that she gives birth to could end up taken away by children protections services and placed in foster homes and then up for adoption. But to do this you will have to prove that she's a bad parent, which is close to unlikely. If you do undertake this it could end up very messy and the mother of these children could turn around a sue you for the trouble you have caused.
You are not yet an adult. Until you turn 19 you will require parental permission. A court order may be granted if the judge thinks it appropriate.
Arizona does not have an Emancipation statute. It does have a termination of parental rights, but that is initiated by the state for abuse and neglect by the parents. You'll have to wait until you turn 18.
Parents usually have to pay for their child even if it is the state that has custody. The child is taken away and parental rights terminated in order to protect the child. If you want your parental rights back and custody you will have to turn to the court.
How much is the violation ticket in Texarkana for making an illegal left turn in Texarkana tx.?
The same rights that they had when they were 16 or 15. You gain *adult* rights when you turn 18.
Not unless that lane is specifically marked or signalled as such. Normally you may only turn right on red from the lane closest to the right curb.
