(by the way i don't mean lions and tigers those are from the feline species.) there are Norwegian forest cats which are the third largest cat breed. there are Egyptian mows and many other breeds. there is even a breed of cat that was practically built to swim. there are also short haired domestic cats called calico, male calicos are really rare. so yeah of course there are many breeds of cats. i know alot about them. just call me the cat lady.
