What are all the problems Katniss faces in 'The Hunger Games'?

Katniss is the sole provider for her family. If she doesn't hunt illegally they will starve. She also must make sure to find enough to bring home so they don't starve. She takes care of her mother and sister because nobody else will.
When the book starts it is the day of the reaping and Katniss has 20 entries into it. Her sister only has one yet she is called. Katniss, being protective and loving takes her place. She is now one of twenty four people all fighting for their lives and only one can survive.

When she leaves, and if she does not return, he family could starve. Thankfully her friend and neighbours will ensure they don't but when her father died Katniss' mother was in a deep depression and she worries she will leave Prim alone is Katniss dies.

She discovers that he partner in the games is in love with her and she has to pretend to the public that she is in love with him to so she will get sponsors even though she is not interested in love or marriage because she does not want children to live life this way.

Her guide during the games is a alcoholic. As Katniss goes hungry at home she is very thin and quite weak but up against some very tough contestants. She gets the highest training score because she shocked the judges which means all the other contestants think she is their biggest opposition.

Once in the arena she struggles to find water, is nearly burnt alive, is stung by a tracker jacker, is nearly killed by a tribute and saved by another simply because she helped the other person from his district.

She also has to keep Peeta alive because they believe that both of them will be allowed to leave. When it is only them left alive they change the rules. Peeta then goes to kill himself and Katniss decides she will too because the Captiol won't let them as they must have a winner.

This helps spark the revolution and the President himself is angry with her. If she cannot convince him she did it because she was madly in love everybody she cares about, and her will be killed.

She also has to deal with having killed people.
