What are arguments against raising the driving age to 18?

Answer:
As you know there are many arguments for raising the driving age, the main one, being fatality statistics that don't lie. New drivers, 16 and 17-year-olds, have a higher chance of dieing... On the othert hand how are these kids going to get to work.. Will postboing the driving age back a couple years really solve the problem or will it create a even older class of unexperianced? In my opinion the driving age should only be raised if people who are 16, 17, and so on are able to drive but with restrictions. tight restrictions. Every 6 months you get to be out an hour later.. More people in your car etc... You should get your full unrestricted license at 18..
