What are bad carbohydrates and what are good carbohydrates?

Answer:
Processed flours, sugars, cereals, breads, potato chips/crisps, ice cream, pasta, pizza, cakes, biscuits/cookies, desserts, etc., (all refined/processed carbohydrates) are generally regarded as "bad"... or "empty calories"... and are better saved for the occasional treat.

For a list of refined (processed) carbohydrates, see the page link, further down this page, listed under Related Questions. Fresh vegetables are generally regarded as "good" or better carbohydrates and good for health (organic vegetables are even better).

(However, a glass or two of red wine is good for you. The key is moderation with all things.)
