A chimpanzee has opposable thumbs and their ability to climb, and sharp canine teeth which they use to threaten others with. Another adaptation is their strong arms to swing and climb the trees with. They also nest build to avoid predators through the night and to sleep safely.Oscar, the star of Chimpanzee, is perfectly suited to his jungle home. That's because our closest living relatives are well adapted to their environment. An adult chimpanzee, like Freddy, the leader of Oscar's family group, can be up to six times stronger than the average human and grip with both his hands and feet, giving him great climbing and swinging ability. You might be able to clamber up a tree or swing from a vine but you'd never keep up with Freddy.

Chimpanzees also have long arms compared to their bodies, and their shoulder, elbow and wrist joints are very flexible allowing them to swing from one branch and grab on to another almost as easily as we can reach forward and pick up a pen.

Chimpanzees adapt to their habitat by use of their opposable big toes which help them climb trees. They use their sharp, long teeth to scare off any predators and their long arms to swing from tree to tree.

Gorillas act like humans in several ways. One, they live in small social groups. They even create beds, or nests, to sleep in. Gorillas have been found to modify items, such as branches to suit different purposes, therefore making tools. Gorillas also have different personalities and moods.

This is impossible to list fully, but one example would be of tool use, such as using a stick to poke into a rotting tree to fish for termites.

Chimpanzees usually are in favor of Fission-Fusion Polygyny. Additional fact would be that they are also carnivores, not vegetarians like most like to believe.
