∙ 13y agoMHC class 1 molecules are present in all of your cells except red blood cells (they lack nuclei). They bind to antigen and present it on the cells surface to be identified as foreign or self. MHC class 1 is associated with CD 8 T cells (or cytotoxic cells).

CLASS 2 MHC ANTIGEN: very limited distribution. found on macrophages,monocytes cd4, b lymphocytes. responsible for graft-versus-host response.
