From my understanding, comets like to hang out way way past Pluto. Kind of like the asteroid belt. Some comets have 100 - 10,000 year orbit around our sun. But as for your question that's where the majority of the comets are.
The above answer is right, partly. Comets are found just outside of the orbit of Pluto, in the Kuiper Belt. Another place is where beyond the Kuiper Belt though is the Oort Cloud. Hundreds upon thousands of comets are found in the Oort Cloud, which surrounds the Sun and all of the planets.
Comets originate in the Kuiper Belt.
Think of a comet as a big, dirty, gassy snowball. Comets are formed in the ring of rocks, dust, and ice that orbits the
Sun
beyond
Pluto
called the
Kuiper Belt. Comets form when rocks, dust, and ice
condense
– that is, join together. As a comet grows larger, it starts to be pulled towards and around the Sun. Comets in our Solar System usually take many years to go around the Sun – from a few dozen years to many thousands of years. This is because they start to orbit the sun from very far away. They make long, egg-shaped orbits around the Sun instead of almost circular ones like the planets. So the Answer is....... yes
Short-period comets (those that have orbital periods of less than 200 years) originate in the Kuiper belt, beyond the orbit of Neptune. Long-period comets (those with orbits longer than 200 years) are thought to originate in the Oort cloud, a cloud of icy bodies from beyond the Kuiper belt.
anywhere in space
No. Most comets are about the same age as the solar system as they formed with it.
Nobody let them in. They formed with the solar system.

It has been suggested that comets originate in the Oort cloud and then travel in long elliptical orbits around the Sun.
The Oort Cloud is the answer.
No. Most comets are about the same age as the solar system as they formed with it.
All the comets that have been seen in history were in the solar system and most still are.
I scientifically believe that comets are closer to the outer part of the solar system.
Nobody let them in. They formed with the solar system.
There are no visible comets at this time.
The sun.

Yes. The solar system is everything that orbits the sun.
It has been suggested that comets originate in the Oort cloud and then travel in long elliptical orbits around the Sun.
the members of the solar system are sun, comets, planets, asteroids,
comets can be found in the oort cloud to the south of Pluto
