What are different Filipino wedding tradition?

1. Before the wedding, the man asks for the lady's hand from her parents. He goes to their home with his parents in tow. This is called "Pamanhikan". It's like an engagement party but with only two families present. The arrangements for the wedding are decided on that occasion. In some regions, dowry is discussed and negotiated.
