What are different colors on the map?

It depends on the map. On a political map they would show different countries. On a relief map they would show hills and mountains. On a thematic map they would display data.

It means that its like a different part of the map like blue might mean water and green might mean land!

I think its so you can tell the different states and countrys apart so you like don't think Michigan and Ohio are like 1 state combined. Hope I helped!!!!!!!
