What are displaced person during wartime setting?

Answer:
Displaced persons are those people who are forced to move because the war has come to THEIR neighborhood. There homes may be destroyed, or it may be too dangerous with bullets, bombs, and enemy soldiers.

The fear of imminent death, injury, arrest, torture, capture has made them decide to move (usually with family members and whatever they can carry on their backs) to a safer area away from the fighting.

This 'safer area' may be a refugee camp, a neighboring village, the home of relatives/friends in another part of the country or another country altogether. These people intend to return to their homes when the fighting has stopped in their area.
