What are drum corps?

drumcorps is a musical pastime involving hard work and crazy talent, there is only brass instruments no stupid woodwinds, there is battry (marching drums) consisting of snares, quads (tenors) bass, and somtimes cymbals, there is a front ensemble also known as the pit in it there are percussion instruments of the melodic sort such as marimba vibraphone xylaphone there is also toys and efect/ flavor drums and cymbals somtimes timpini and drum kit are also included, there are no electronics in drumcorps except to amplify the front ensemble. the battry and brass players move in formation known as drill which is very extensive and demanding, there is also the colorgaurdwhich are dancers who add to the story and use flags sabers and rifles in their part. the activity is awsome and very hardcore,,,......... wait.........drumcorp
