it is native to south America.It blooms during April-August.It grows in all regions of North America found in grasslands. hope it helped because i doing a project on them and that is all i have so far.
There are only two flowers that I know called African Daisy and they are Osteospermum and its close relative Dimorphotheca, neither of them are native of South America though they may have been introduced, they are native to South Africa.
