speed fast speed YO MY HOME SKILLIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WORD IN The West Wing! PEACE TO THE EAST AND MANY MANY MORE IM WORKING MY WAY TO THE DACE FLOOR GO PUGS! GO PUGS! WHOP WHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are VERY friendly and know no enemies. They are bad watchdogs as they love everybody. They shed a lot. They snore loudly. They are given to farting a lot. They are very intelligent and can be slightly stubborn. They get along great with other dogs and cats and make a great family dog. They bond with the entire family not just one person. They are not nippy or aggressive or nervous at all. They have very low heat tolerance and must be protected from weather that is much over 80 degrees. They are not good at strenuous activities except for very short periods. They frequently become obese and get Diabetes They can easily get eye injuries.

Pugs are the most LOVEABLE dogs that there are. As a pug owner here are a few facts:

1. Pugs hate to use the bathroom in dirty places, so you have to clean the yard, kennel, etc.

2. They love all dogs- They are bad watch dogs because of this. They love pleasing you and being where you are....mine is in my lap right now trying to type this

3. Fawn or Apricot pugs shed a lot....there are seasons where they do what is called "blowing their coat" With my pug I have noticed this in the summer months. She will shed like nobody's business.

4. Love to eat- Pugs will eat and eat and eat and eat..did I mention eat? Watch their diet because this could lead to respiratory problems!!!

5. They love to chew on wires....they are notorious for this! Hide your computer and anything with wires!

6. They are brachycephalic- means a smooshed in face. They snore, they fart, they need access to water so they can quinch their dry mouths. If you don't mind this get a pug. I love hearing mine snore and cannot sleep without her snores....I love it!

7. Great at agility- They love doing agility exercises

8. Overheat easily- you cannot jog with a pug or exercise them like a lab or other dogs. These dogs do well with a small walk. If they overheat. Get ice...cool their paws, cool their fur...this is an emergency for them

8. They are from China and were company to royalty

9. Known as Mops in some parts of Europe

10. Pug was to source for words like pugnatious meaning hard headed......this breed can be persistent when training. Once they get it, they get it!

11. Have bugged eyes- have to take care to make sure their eyes are protected. Watch that coffee table, anything that has projectiles. This could injure their eyes

12. Need wrinkle care- Their smooshed face has wrinkles and they can get infections if not cleaned after eating

13. Nails grow quickly- clip or grind every 2-3 weeks or when you hear them hit the floor

This is some of what I know. If you get a pug you will love them.
