1. Animals cannot make their own food. Some eat plants, some eat animals, and some eat both.

2. Animals digest their food.

3. Many animals move from place to place to find food, mates, a better place to live or to escape enemies. If they can't move or they move slowly, they will have adaptations that let them take care of these needs.

4. Animals have many cells.

5. Animal cells are eukaryotic. They each have a nucleus and organelles surrounded by membranes.

A cow is a mammal that has four legs and is an even-toed ungulate (split or cloven hoofed). Cows are also ruminants, which means they regurgitate partially digested food to chew it further (cud). Cows also have four stomach chambers and large udders for the production of milk.

Unfortunately this question is far to vague to answer. So-called "character traits" are highly dependent on the individual cow, whether if indeed if this "cow" is a cow or not, the breed, whether it's been exposed to humans or not, how it's been treated by humans, the list goes on.

The unique features of a cow, assuming you're asking in reference to what makes a cow unique to all other animals in the animal kingdom, is mainly this: the many breeds and colourations and similar variations that she can come in, as well as the fact that she can be naturally hornless, unlike other related (albeit distantly) bovines that make up Family Bovidae, like the domestic water buffalo or yak, for instance. No other bovine or animal (except the horse, of course) comes in so many different breeds, coat colours and colour variations as the domestic cow. Also, no other animal on this planet has been selectively bred to produce as much milk in one day as the average woman would weigh, and then some!
