No good reason. The school does not set the time or ending of the school day and has no control over it. The times are set by the state and the state audits the school down to the second to make sure they comply with the state mandate. If a school started later they would have to go later in the day to make up the time.
"Benefits of Delayed School Start Times"
A school day for high school students should start two hours later, so students can get more rest.
well i started when i was about 12. There is no really set age but you should like in middle school to later.
cause they need more sleep and should have school start later, and then the day would be too short.
School should start later on. Teens need it. U want us to do good in school but were like zombies until lunch.

Most likely most of them do, but what they don't know is that the school doesn't set the hours the state does and they get picky about it with counting minutes. Each school has a set number of days and minutes in the school day and an auditor checks to make sure that these are met by the school. If they aren't the school has to make up the time or day. Should a school start later it would get out later.
Depends on the reason. If a student is homeschooled the teacher is required by the school district to go to the child's home, but if the reason is a social reason a teacher should not visit the child. Some school districts also require teachers to pay home visit at the start of the school year, but this is school business. Anything beyond school business is not proper unless the teacher is friends with the parents.
there are some negative effects of later school start times:late finishfatiguelack of concentrationdon't get be out in the daylight as muchthey are just some of the negative effects, there are some more.

no.. it should start at 8 or 830 so the parents can get to work. If it started later, it would have to end later. I would personally like more free hours in the evening, so not for me
