Answer
Anything that is comfortable to drive, economical, better for the environment and something that's not going to put you to sleep.
I guess a make and model is what you're after, but that's impossible given the circumstances, as I don' know your requirements.
Personally, I like German cars, but that's just me, I know they're not every one's cup of tea, just my take on a nice, economical and very comfortable and well performing car over a large number of miles.
