What are laws for sawed off shotguns in Virginia?

Answer:
Same as the federal law. Barrel not shorter than 18 inches measured from the crown of the muzzle to the mouth of the breech.

IF the barrel is shorter than 18 inches, or the overall length less than 26 inches, it must be registered with the BATFE as a short barreled shotgun. If registered, it does not violate Virginia law.
