What are nursing interventions for a patient having diaphoresis?

Answer:
All I could think of are keeping the patient clean and odor free. assessing skin cause the sweat has toxins that can cause breakdown on the epidermis. Also assess why they're sweating, if it's cold or hot, just stuff that help you figure out the underlying cause if you don't know it already. Cause sweat can be anything. If it's cause the temperature of the room is too hot then you can turn it down to convenience. If it's cause they have something internal going on that they have increased metabolism and therefore have a low grade fever and heat intolerance then you can also promote a cold shower to cool down their body temperature
