The oil spill Has reached the coast of Louisiana in some places. The officials are trying to clean it up, but, there is too much for any human to get it all. What is worse; is the oil pipe is still leaking as of June 2, 2010, and it looks as though it is going to keep on leaking oil, until all of it reaches the surface of the water and washes up on the Gulf and East coast of the United States of America.

This depends on the oil spill. The BP oil spill was 50-60 miles SE of the coast of Louisiana. It has since hit the shores of all the states in the Gulf of Mexico. Due to the gulf stream, oil particulate is expected to reach the East coast of America as well as parts of Europe.
