Bags can be made with a variety of plastics films. Polyethylene (LDPE, LLDPE for example) is the most common. Other forms, including laminates and extrusions can be used when the physical properties are needed. In recent years many countries have demanded the demise or mass reduction in the use of these bags because of their inability to decompose in the ground as waste matter. Now many new producers are using 10 % virgin material such as Polyethylene (LDPE, LLDPE for example) and 90% recycled bags which are mixed in and dissolve in the production process.
