The healing process hurts. Don't do it yourself or you could possibly die from blood lose in about 5 minutes. It's actually really entertaining. The initial piercing doesn't hurt at all. It feels really weird right after you get it pierced. Your going to be in hell the morning after. Your tongue swells insanely and you sound like a total retard when you talk for like a day or two. It can mess up the enamel on your teeth but as long as you go to the dentist regularly and they tell you, your okay then you don't have to worry about it. Mine didn't bleed but my brother got it done the same time I did and his bleed a tiny bit.
Body Piercing Guidelines or "I want a piercing, now what"
If you mean rules for cleaning and care, they are:
-Make sure to mouthwash (1/2 water, 1/2 mouthwash) after every time you eat, drink anything but water, or smoke.
-For swelling, take ibuprofen (not more than 6 in a 24 hour period) and let ice chips melt on your tongue. (I ate a lot of popsicles)
-DO NOT brush the piercing with your toothbrush. All of the bacteria it carries is okay for your teeth, but you could get a pretty serious infection in your tongue.
A white-yellow goo coming from the hole (both on the top & bottom of the tongue) is normal, this is not puss. It won't harm your piercing, it is just something that happens due to swallowing issues, and saliva buildup.
Swelling and discomfort are normal for the first week-two weeks.
The piercing itself isn't the least bit painful.
Enjoy!
You go in and sit down, the piercer will ask if this is your first time getting your tongue pierced (there are different procedures if you have).
If it is your first time, you will be given a small cup of mouthwash to rinse.
The piercer will ask you to stick your tongue out as far as you can, and will then put petroleum jelly on either side of your tongue where the needle will go through. Then the piercer will clamp your tongue with piercing clamps (they look like scissors but with holes in the ends, and no blades) and shove the needle through the bottom of your tongue. They will then pull the tongue ring through, and screw the ball on top. Then you're all done!
It doesn't hurt anything but your pride (due to the drooling during the process).
Do a Google Image search for tongue piercings.
Schools can't make piercings "illegal," but each school has different rules; for example, some schools allow nose piercings, but studs, not hoops. Most schools, however, don't care or won't even see that you have a tongue ring.
The venom is two tongue piercings.
Depends on your anatomy. I've seen up to 5 center tongue piercings.
If they're in the middle of your tongue, they're just double center tongue piercings. If they're side by side, on either side of your tongue, they're venom tongue piercings.

Everyone has veins in their tongue. You'll have to check with your piercer to see if a tongue piercing is possible. Center tongue piercings are usually an option for a majority of people but venoms or off-center piercings can be tricky.
I dont think they heal at all, because the tongue is a muscle.
