He will seem stand-offish, try to avoid you, if he is around you he will treat you different, he will makes excuses to not be around you or break dates, he will lie to you, and he will just be all around trying to shut you out.
Also he would just start "moving" away, you wouldn't get any closer basically you would get farther apart
