a crystal whose molecules are held together by weak physical bonding as opposed to chemical bonding. They usually are soft and have low melting points. They are also poor conductors of electricity basically due to the lack of electrons and ions in these solids. Examples of molecular crystals are- ice, solid carbon dioxide( dry ice) and rock candy. Iodine, phosphurus, sulphur, nitrogen, argon and water all form molecular crystals.
These contain only a few atoms held together by strong covalent bonds. An example is carbon dioxide (CO2), the molecules of which contain one atoms of carbon bonded with two atoms of oxygen.

monomers.
Organic molecules are molecules that have a carbon backbone.
Carbohydrate molecules are made up of small sub-units called sugars. Carbohydrates also contain the elements hydrogen, oxygen and carbon.
Simple diffusion really says it for itself. Mostly simple molecules and substances can pass through. Water, O2 or CO2, or other small simple molecules are the limited spectrum of simple diffusion.
true
Anabolic pathways require energy to combine simple molecules into more complex ones.

Organic molecules are molecules that have a carbon backbone.
Simple molecules are further broken down in cells in a process called catabolism.
Starches... Starches are large molecules made of small simple sugar molecules.

This process is called synthesis.

These substances are called enzymes.

Nutrient molecules pass from the small intestine into the through tiny structures called villi.
Small non-polar molecules can pass through a membrane rapidly.
