There aren't any Gold Live codes out there unless Microsoft decides on doing a pomotional thing. Any code found on the internet will not work because codes have to be activiated at a register when bought, so codes on the internet are either fake or used and then posted as working.
You could go to a site that rewards people for doing surveys, then once enough points ar earned, trade them for a gold card.

∙ 14y agoI do not understand what you mean by this, but if you are asking for someone to give you a code for Xbox Live, no one is gonna give it to you, as it costs money and no one is willing to go buy a card and give the code to a complete stranger asking for it.

∙ 10y agoOccasionally, sites or users will post 48-hour to 1-month trial codes, but they won't just give out free membership codes. Any code generator is fake and a scammer.

I think you do have to pay for the xbox live, however it will need to be by credit card on the official xbox site. but i do think that the codes are interchangable between original and 360. however you cannot directly use a xbox live 360 code on the original xbox, you will need to redeem it on the xbox 360.
