What are some advantages and disadvantages between desktops and notebooks?

I will let you choose using the following guidelines i have written.

Desktops:

require being plugged in all the time

are more sensative to movement

are big and bulky

easier to maintain (hardware)

hard to move about

heavy

sometimes loud

can have large powerful processors and graphics cards.

upto four sticks of memory (RAM)

Masses of harddrive space possible (I have 2 Terabytes)

more secure (less likely to be stolen)

better for playing games, working on media files, DVD Ripping/encoding.

Notebooks:

small and easy to carry

can run on internal battery

does not need maintaining internaly as much as desktops

are very limited to what hardware can be installed inside

are not so sensative to shocks

cannot as powerful as desktops

can have built in Wifi

limited harddrive space (unless a USB HDD caddy is used which can sometimes require a plug socket)

less secure (more likely to be stolen unless locked to a desk or somthing)

Better for working, some small games and media playing.
