I actually just visited a Q&A book signing with her, where this question was asked. The ribbon on the front of Eclipse is being unsuccessfully torn, with strands still holding on. This is supposed to represent that it is not always easy to make a "clean cut," meaning how hard it is to let go. Hopefully after reading the book, this symbolism will make sense.
i think the meaning of the ribbon is the bonds Bella has with Jacob Black. If you read the book, in the end Jacob and Bella get mad at each other when Jacob finds out Bella is going to marry Edward and runs away from Forks leaving everything behind.
Eclipse was published : by Stephenie Meyers in 2007
Eclipse is about Bella's stuggle to keep her friendship with Jacob Black and her love for Edward.
the 30th of June 2010
There should be 148,971 words.
Stephenie Meyer did write a book name Eclipse it's part of the Twilight Saga, book three.
Eclipse was release on August 7th, 2007.It has 629 pages :]
i think the ribbon represents Bella. the ribbon is torn just as she is torn over if she wants Edward or Jacob more.
You have to buy the book to read it. You can read quotes on Twilighters and the plot on wikipedia. That's about it. Hope that answered your question.
because of the setence Jacob says at the and of the book, when Bella says to him that he was like the sun, fighting with her clouds, about Edward he says: "the clouds I can handle but I can't do anything with an Eclipse"
no, well maybe
