There is an astounding diversity of wildlife in Serengeti. It is truly mind-boggling to see. There are the standards such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest (gnu), giraffes, elephants, gazelles, dik diks, crocodiles, and hippopotamus. But there are many, many more reptiles and mammals and hundreds and hundreds of species of birds.
