ON CHRISTIAN DATING
There are no specific guidelines because that would be just too nosy. However, it is strongly advised that you date fellow believers. Because you are already saved, would you like to risk "falling from grace" just because of a girl or a guy? The devil is pretty obsessed with turning the people of God into his own. He will use just about anything to deter your relationship with God. Do not let the enemy use your emotions. Now if you are in a relationship with a fellow believer, be sure it is the opposite sex. No gay/lesbian relationships. That's being a hypocrite and sin. Now that you're dating absolutely no premarital sex! Not until you're married of course. It's better than you don't go out on a date because you don't have the money rather than you go out but you don't have a tithe. Pray with your partner. Go to services together. Enjoy yourselves in God. Be faithful. No two timing!
I heard a good story about dating nonbelievers as a way to make them Christians. This is sometimes referred to as a missionary dating. Some Christians will use this as a reason to date non-Christians. Imagine the Christian is standing on a chair. The nonbeliever is on the ground. They are holding hands. Would it be easier for the non-believer to pull a Christian down to their level or for the Christian to pull them up to their level? Think about it.
