A few similarities between the movie and book are that the movie still has the complete Greaser gang (Ponyboy, Johnny, Sodapop, Darry, Dally, Two-Bit, and Steve) and also Johnny and Dally still die in the movie but the movie begins with Johnny and Pony following Dally around town.when johnny kills bob and the rumble
Now a few differences are that they dont have the court scene, Darry doesn't slap Pony he pushes him down; Pony isn't sick after Johnny and Dally die; the movie doesn't mention Mickey Mouse, (Soda's horse); Sodapop and Dally aren't blonds like they are in the book, instead they are brunettes; the church that Ponyboy and Johnny run away to isn't on a hill; when the church catches on fire pony and johnny doesn't save the kids in a hall way; randy doesn't visit Ponyboy after the rumble the book is a lot better than the movie because there is no detail left out and in the movie there's a lot . I have like 37 differences 1 is that the movie never mentions sodapops girl friend. They don't do acrobatic stuff off the porch. Ponyboy didn't fall asleep on Johnny's lap while riding the train. In the book Soda gives Ponyboy money (a check) Well in the book he didn't. Johnny never made a joke about Jerry about how fat he was. They mention that Marcia was from the south side instead of west side. At the beggining of the movie they never chased after those kids and picked on them in the book. Also the book was written in ponyboy's perspective and the movie was not the movie was written in everyone's perspective.
The movie had a couple differences than the book. Some of the characters did not appear in the movie as much as they did in the book. In the Movie the Socs were from the South instead of the West. Ponyboy doesn't smoke as much in the movie as they said so in the book. In the movie, Dallys and Sodapop's hair were brown instead of blonde. During the movies, they sat on chairs and walked home. In the book, they sat on blankets and drove home in a car. In the book, Ponyboy and Johnny sleep in the lot looking at the stars. In the movie, they slept in the woods looking at the stars. When Ponyboy comes home around 2:00am, Darry slaps him across the face. In the movie, Darry pushes Ponyboy and he falls over a chair. When Dally takes them out to eat, Johnny and Ponyboy gobble their food down. In the movie, Johnny drops his burger. In the movie, When Johnny and Darry are in the hospital, Ponyboy doesn't feel very well.
1.) In the movie, Ponyboy is writing his thoughts about being jumped after coming out of the movie theaters in a journal while in the book, Ponyboy simply narrates his thoughts about being jumped after the movie theaters.
2.) In the movie, there is a scene of Steve doing a flip off of a rusty car in the front of Ponyboy's and Sodapop's and Darry's house, while this does not happen in the book.
3.) The reason Ponyboy and Johnny went to rest in the lot was because Johnny's folks were fighting. In the book, Ponyboy went with Johnny to rest in the lot because they were tired and Johnny did not want to return home yet.

The book emphasizes the brothers' relationship and focuses more on their teamwork to survive, while the movie introduces more action sequences and visual effects. Additionally, the ending of the book differs from the movie, offering a more open interpretation of the story's events.

Yes, there are some differences between the movie adaptation of "Charlotte's Web" and the original novel by E.B. White. The movie adds some elements and characters not present in the book, and also changes some scenes to better fit the visual medium of film. However, the core themes and messages of the story remain consistent between the two versions.
