When seeds are dispersed by explosion, the force of the explosion sends seeds scattering in all different directions. The following is a list of plants in which this method of dispersal occurs: Broom, Eurphorbia, Geranium, Viola, Ceanothus, Oxalis, Lupin, Erodium, and Lathyrus. Please refer to the Related Link to view pictures of each of the plants and to read more information about the dispersal of seeds in each.
peas
A pumpkin is a fruit - the seeds are contained in a sweet fleshy material - animals eating the pumpkin will invariably ingest some of the seeds and will disperse them in their excrement.
Examples of protein foods include meat, fish, nuts, and beans.
some examples are: 1: the nuclear explosion which we are misusing while in other countries people used the nuclear explosions for producing electricity 2: we are misusing the factories we r mixing the chemicals in our clean water and the factories are also producing smoke!
some examples of non print media are ...
what are some non examples of electric motor
Hornbeam, sycamore, ash, dandelion
Yes,it Does because it a gas that speed so it burns the seeds
Wind Water Animals Insects Explosive dispersal
That is most likely referring to how the plant spreads seeds away from the parent plant. Some get animals to eat them then egest them elsewhere, some by wind ie dandilion and some by shooting them out with an "explosion"(not really an explosion though).
It depends, if the air blows with heavy speed then it may.........
Because many seeds cannot be digested by the animals, they can be passed out in an animal's waste at some distance from the original plant. (see related question)
Usually the fruit is to nourish the seed contained within long enough for the seed to germinate. However, some plant seeds can survive a passage through an animal's intestine. These plants produce fruit which is attractive to animals which then disperse the seeds through their feces.
Coconuts,
Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, papaya . There are probably a lot more if you think about it.
It splits and releases its seeds far from the original tree to prevent overcrowding and also to ensure that their own kind will not be extinct.
The seeds drop into the water and are carried to places where they might grow. Some seeds drop into the mud immediately around the parent tree.I am not completely sure but it should be waterI am not sure but I think it is dispersed by animals when they eat them
Seeds are the "containers" that hold the potential of a new plant. Some common examples are peas, beans and sunflower seeds. A fruit is the "container" that holds may seeds and is actually the ripened ovary of the flower. Some common examples of fruit (with noticeable seeds) are tomato's peppers, oranges and melons.
