A lot. I love Queen, they're the best band ever. They started with the name "Smile", with Guittarist Brian May and Drummer Roger Taylor in 1968. Then Farrokh Bulsara (Known as Freddie Mercury) joined as frontman and coninced May and Taylor to change the name to Queen. Then, in 1971 or 1972 joined John Deacon. That was the start. ∙ 12y agoUm at there time they weren't big in America because they didn't tour here. And one of their Music Videos where they dressed as women was a big turn off to the states. Freddie worked until his dying days and loads of makeup had to be out on him because he looked so weak for music videos The song "We Are The Champions" was created in a church. That classic beat came from hands clapping and a loose church floor board thumping
