People use the Internet for recourse's not random jibber jabber. The Native Amazonians have been around for more then 20,000 years! When first numbered they had a population of an estimated 6.8 million. In 1970 the Amazonians population was around 500,000. Numbers have decreased because land use has decreased due to the logging industry. These Amazonians have never had contact with the outside world. They hunt, Fish, grow crop's, and medicines. If the Native Amazonians actually were forced out of there own land then about 13 percent of our medicine would be depleted as it comes from the shamans that are part of the Native Amazonian culture.
