We do not automatically disfellowship someone who commits a serious sin. If, however, a baptized Witness makes a practice of breaking the Bible's moral code and does not repent, he or she will be shunned or disfellowshipped. The Bible clearly states: "Remove the wicked man from among yourselves."-1 Corinthians 5:13.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not seek fame and those who become famous do not give it much concern in their lives. Still, there are hundreds of Jehovah's human witnesses who have gotten historical notice. A man named Able would be the first. He sought a good relationship with his Creator and was martyred at the hand of a jealous opposer. Noah became famous for his witnessing work. In fact, in all the earth of his time, no one outside his faithful family gained any lasting fame at all. Sadly, not all of his offspring shared his Faith, but he did have an influence on some of them. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were notable for the witness they bore to their Creator. Moses was an outstanding member of the nation that came from their foundation. Joshua, Ehud, Samson, David, Solomon, Jehu, Isaiah, Daniel, Jeremiah and many others became famous in their turn, and all of them because of the work they did in Jehovah's service. More recently Jesus Christ became the most famous Jehovah's Witnesses ever. He said, "My food is for me to do the will of him that sent me". Again, his witnessing was and is the center of his life and the cause of his fame. Many of his followers in the first century had a similar "double-effect" due to their devotion. Some might wonder, "what about modern times?" Maybe there are some Witnesses today who would like to become so well-known because of their dedication to Jehovah, but that kind of thought is most likely a mere daydream compared to the actual work they do in witnessing. It would take great hubris to consider making an actual goal of approaching the great fame of those mentioned above. I think the questioner is asking specifically about contemporary famous people who are Jehovah's Witnesses from the 20th and 21st centuries which is when Jehovah's Witnesses have been recognized as being a specific religion.
