1) Always keep your eye on your mark, 2) do not walk too fast on your approach, 3) keep your eye on your mark while releasing the ball and follow through towards your mark, 4) do not get upset if you throw a good ball in the pocket and leave a pin or two because you will eventually throw a bad ball that should leave a split but will get a strike, 5) make sure the ball you use fits comfortably and is not too heavy, 6 and most important) enjoy the game.
