This would be a neat science project.
Its title is "Washing With Fruit."
The chemical in question is called d-limonene. It's made by squeezing it out of orange peels. The cleaning products aisle in the supermarket is full of "orange" cleaners. This is the stuff they use to make them...but we're going to have a really tough test for it. We are going to try cleaning greasy car parts with it to see whether d-limonene or mineral spirits, the standard solvent for cleaning car parts, works better. Do this experiment outside, please.
You will need:
some greasy car parts--go to a junkyard and ask if they have some old greasy broken car parts you can have. Get four of them. The dirtier the better.
two small buckets--Home Depot has small paint buckets that hold a gallon. These would be fine.
two parts cleaning brushes.
two quarts of d-limonene and two quarts of mineral spirits.
protective gear--gloves and goggles.
a watch with a second hand.
The first test is to put a part in each bucket, pour mineral spirits in one and d-limonene in the other, swish the parts around once every minute, and see how long it takes for the solvent to clean the part.
The second test is to put a part in each bucket. Put solvent in one bucket and scrub the part with a brush, timing as you do this. Then put the other solvent in the other bucket and scrub that part. Here you have two questions--which worked faster, and which was easier to scrub the grease off with?
You can have one of two hypotheses: that mineral spirits will clean better than d-limonene, or that d-limonene will clean better.
Does Temperature affect mold growth is a nice one i got an A+ on it and 1st place

Go to sciencebuddies.com it has a lot of good ideas
Evolutionary Psychology
I would suggest "shocking science" as a title for a project about static electricity.
It depends on what the project is on.
Do a project about the moon and if you have a telescope like I do take your own pictures and add them to it. Or you can do it about the nebula in the cosmos.
well it depends on how far into the school year you are in

a good science experiment for 6th graders that is fun is making insta snow its fun and inexpensive
Evolutionary Psychology
You can make a poster showing a diagram about earthquakes. Also, you can create a model using paper meche or a sculpture using clay.
