What are some good treasure hunt clues for 10-12 year old children?
Answer:
For older children treasure hunts need to be a little more taxing but the basics remain the same. Try the following.
Photo clues - close ups of where to find the next clue, close ups of things to find. Or if they have camera phones get them to photo themselves at a place.
Riddles - harder to do but there is software for creating riddles available or search the Internet for riddles and puzzles.
Direction clues - give them instructions to follow - like take 10 steps north, 5 east or 10 houses along the road etc.
Missing words - use pop song lyrics or any other words/poems they know and miss out a word... the word represents the place to go to or thing to find.
