I drive a semi truck for Ryder inc., a Fortune 500 company. I get paid around $65,000.00 or more per year. Some semi ddrivers make more, some make less. It really depends on how much you want to be driving versus how much time you want to be home. My training (school) was 13 days. Then I went out with a trainer and learned to drive a semi truck (I got paid in training, but not the 13 days of school. It may be different today). I think it is reasonable to expect $35,000.00 for your first year. Many companies have local and regional opportunities, but the more you are home the less you get paid (in general).
Regardless of what the job is, you will require some kind of schooling, training or qualification before even hoping to get a fairly good job. the only way to avoid neediing a qualification is to work your way up the ranks of a place like McDonald's, KFC or another fast food outlet.
See the problem is too many people get discouraged by bone heads like the one who commented above. Let me give you my example. At the ripe age of 19 with no college education I joined a Mortgage company and made 107k in my first year...imagine that six figures in my first year with no college education and certainly not working the fryalator. I wore a suit in a beautiful air conditioned office everyday and demanded attorney's to buy my office lunch and front row seats to sporting events. Each year I made more and more to the point where I became a branch manager and was earning 250k per year. At the age of 23 I owned a 500,000 house and a 60,000 car and still had the extra income to bank every month. Today I run my own Mortgage firm and although the industry has had its bumps I am earning more than I ever have working for any of my past companies. Shame on these losers who go spend 60k plus to get a college education just to come out and get their cushy 48k salary and have the nerve to look down on people that do not have a degree. Bill gates does not have a college degree and Oprah went back and received hers long after she was a millionaire. I myself still without a degree earn over 300k per year and the only debts I am paying off that are above 50k are my cars and boats...LOL. Sky is the limit a degree doesn't make you money...You will make money if you want it bad enough. Stockbrokers also don't require degrees. I have a good buddy who just had to take the series 7 exam and he has made quite a living for himself. I can assure the college educated person who wrote the first post will never see a six figure salary so don't listen to negative people. Glad to get that off my chest. Good Luck!!
I'm currently taking a dialysis technician course here in New Jersey. It runs from sept. thru June. you take a state exam at the end for your license. the cost for the program was around $4,500. and the median hourly rate for the job title is around $15.50. you will work with people on hemodialysis for disease like Diabetes, HIV, and hepatitis b. when my kids ask what I'll be doing i like to tell them that i will clean peoples blood and give it back to them so they can have better lives with their familes. : ) hope you look into it. it's very fascinating.
The truth is there is no perfect job that you can get without a four year degree. So just do your best and find a great college to go to with rewarding careers.
Many recent news stories have highlighted the fact that the majority of the jobs available today do not require a four-year college degree. Several in-demand careers require only vocational training school. Careers in such diverse fields as cosmetology, heating and air conditioning, medical assisting, and computer repair require less than a four-year degree. Future vocational training school students can check in their local area to see what other programs may be offered.
Yes, obviously.
No way of telling, it depends on what you want from it. Single-speeds require less maintenance and can be good for cadence training, but they're inherently less efficient as travelling machines than geared bikes.
Training to become a medical transcriptionist takes less than 2 years at the current time although I expect it will require at least a 2 year degree in the not so distant future. More information is on my bio page.

They are much less active , for the most part.
It depends on the specific program of study.
The answer will depend on how poor or depleted the soil is and what you wish to grow there. Grass will require less fertiliser than fruit trees. The answer will depend on how poor or depleted the soil is and what you wish to grow there. if you are experienced forklift operator you can complete the training for less than $50.00
None? Why would you get paid more than a doctor if you went through less training than one, less exams and have less responsibility?
there are different training programs that allow you to become a pharmacy technician in less than a year. Some of them you have to go there in person or for some you could also do it online.
