The first known origin of the horse was the discovery of the Eohippus. Eohippus was the earliest form that scientists have found for a domestic horse. It was supposed to have stripes like a zebra and feet like a goat.

Other facts about horses are that you shouldn't stand directly behind a horse. It may kick you.

Horses are unable to vomit or regurgitate.

The two kinds of leg markings are stockings and socks.

The very hairy part on a horse is called a mane.
