Something that really helps is Purell hand sanitizer. I had a HUGE zit on my cheek and it actually hurt to the fact I couldn't even smile, talk, eat, or anything else. My dad told me his mom had taught him for bad zits rubbing hand sanitizer would bring down swelling, and it did now I'm smiling and eating just like normal!
