Immediate Effects Of Smoking Marijuana:
- I found that I was saying things I never expected to say. It feels like nothing matters, and emotions and things happening around you are exaggerated. Sometimes it feels like you can do anything, and sometimes you get depressed and very scared. It can bring out the best or worse in you so be aware, and safe. Don't take too much straight away; ease in.
- Drowsiness or sleepiness, relaxation* (reduction of anxiety), tingling in the head or body, dry mouth, red eyes, craving (especially high calorie foods) foods [also called 'the munchies'] difficulty remembering what was just said or recent events, laughter or giddiness sometimes at things that are only mildly funny, increased heart rate, anxiety* (paranoia).
- The anxiety or relaxation has to do with where you smoke and how you feel when you smoke. If you are in a safe, secure, comfortable location you may feel relaxed. If you are in an unfamiliar location or worried about being caught smoking you may become anxious.
- Well, at first you may have a bit of head rush then a dry mouth and slightly itchy eyes. I also found I was talking a lot and that I was hungry and craved food.
- Long-term use of Marijuana is not good for you. I have a girlfriend who is a "burn out" from the 60s and she admits she smoked a lot of Marijuana and did not do acid. She is what one would call "slow" and finds it difficult to concentrate at times. It's a risk where a person can buy Marijuana (I live in the Marijuana Capital ... Canada) and buying Marijuana off the street is a risk because it can have other dangerous chemicals in it and there is a good reason for this ... to hook teens to more potent drugs.
- There is no evidence that marijuana is a serious threat to health, either short-term or long term. Every major study of the subject in the last 100 years has concluded that marijuana is not a significant threat to health in any respect.
