What are symptoms of gallbladder attack? |
[Edit] |
I had my gallbladder out two years ago and before that I would get a stabbing pain in the centre of my chest that would last approx 15 - 20mins then would disappear completely. This is due to the gallstones moving inside the gallbladder. The pain used to rise in my back then my chest and then all of a sudden would stop. Afterwards I felt tired and cold. The doctors told me I had wind! This dragged on for two years until I got admitted with chronic stabbing chest pain that didn't stop after two hours! I advise anyone suffering like this, to cut down on all fat in food and alcohol as this can aggrevate the gallstones. I was eating no more than 5g saturated fat in any meal before I had my op. This worked as I went skiing during the wait for my op!
