They had blacksmiths, silversmiths, newspaper, shoemaker's, cabinet making, and barber. The blacksmiths made horseshoes, swords and fences. Silversmiths made spoons, and jewerly.

newspaper men published stories. Shoemakers made shoes. Cabinetmakers made cabinets and furniture. Barbers

made wigs and also cut hair.
