Threats to rainforest ecosystemsAs we have seen previously, rainforests are subjected to a range of natural disturbances, mainly due to cyclones and storm damage, but also drought, fire and volcanic eruptions are other natural processes that effect rainforest ecology. Human activities are increasingly having a major impact on tropical rainforest via deforestation and degradation (Figure 7, Figure 8). There are about 109 ha of tropical forests in the world and about 1% per annum is converted and degraded each year to other land uses, namely;
Slash and burn agriculture (~50% of all rain-forest destruction)
Clear-cut logging
Strip mining - combined with pollution from chemicals used to process the mined ores.
==========
Destruction of rain-forests is believed to be responsible for at least 1/3 of the increase in greenhouse gasses in the last few hundred years. The plants in the rain-forests absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen back into the atmosphere. When they are gone, the carbon dioxide doesn't get removed and builds up. Even if carbon emissions were to remain stable carbon dioxide would continue to build up in the atmosphere because the of loss of rain-forests reduces that capacity of the planet to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
The first one is fire. That is all I know. SOZ
Humans burning trees for palm oil and other sources we use.

Motor vehicles and hunters are the biggest threats to raccoons.
lighting and bad wind is the biggest treat or tornadoes
habitat destruction, or humans
The worlds biggest flower is Rafflesia arnoldii or the Titan Arum found in the Indonesian rainforests.
Humans and human activities, particularly fishing are the biggest threats.
lots like global warming, water rising, deforestation, logging, forest fires and lots more
of coarse! Where else do people cut trees down?
The answer is poaching
