∙ 11y agoGround Handlers are people that are based on the grounds of the airports that deal with the turn around of the aircraft where after the plane have stopped to drop off its passengers. The ground handlers will come onto the plane and sort out the aircraft by making sure it's clean and in a reasonable condition for the next batch of passengers to arrive onboard. This is also when the engineer checks the aircraft for any problems with the plane such as checking if there is any damage to the side or underneath the plane basically the maintenance job of the industry by seeing if the plane is suitable to fly. Before the plane goes on its next journey the aircraft will get refuelled in order for the plane to fly safely without having to make an emergency stop en route to its next destination. The caterers will come onboard the aircraft and restock some more food and refreshments to keep the next lot of customers happy and occupied throughout the flight. They would also connect the dump truck to the toilet to filter out and clean the toilet so that it's suitable for the next lot of passengers and it will also make the toilet not overflow during the duration of the next flight.
