Maggot infestation in food indicates the food is not safe for human consumption. If you have to ship it back, I would strongly recommend sealing the food and storing it in a refrigerated area away from any other food. If you do not have to ship it back, document the condition of the product and discard it as soon as possible into a landfill, rendering facility or incineration facility.
