The complications are the same as with childbirth but the risk to get it is smaller. They are bleedings, infections, rupture, sterility etc. Abortions today are considered safe though and safer then childbirth. There are no problems getting pregnant afterwards since there is no lingering effect of abortion unless you have complications.
